Out of Comfort Zone & Light and Dark

I, unfortunately, had to combine two of the prompts (#7 and #22) for this submission. I've had this image in my head for the last few weeks and although I don't have a story for it, I think it would be fun to animate in the future. That being said, it involves a lot of elements I tend to struggle with - backgrounds, shading, colour theory and painting. All were out of my comfort zone but it was worth the struggle. As you can see, the image above is a crow flying through a very dark, very purple, forest while carrying a lantern. The light from the lantern ripples across all the trees, dirt and other forest elements.

Something Musical

Honestly, I'm not into musicals - however, I'm a particular fan of this music video. It's pure insanity and and makes you go 'lolwut' repeatedly for the entire 2 minutes and 15 seconds. To make matters worse - the tune is extremely catchy. Proceed with caution lol.

Different Style

Not much to say about this one... As you can see, its Super Mario Bros 3 in an early black and white silent film animation style.

Teehee... Can you imagine everything bouncing to music?

Different Time Period

Rosie the Riveter, the poster from World War II, that is now commonly used as a symbol of feminism and women economic power.

Robot Comics

Ive always wanted to do a quick little animated short about a 'malfunctioning' R2D2 that ends up just making toast but I worry about the whole copyright thing so I guess a doodle will have to do.
For now. =P

Self Portrait

I dont really think it looks like me but then I was like... "Its smiling like an idiot, got a massive nose and wearing a bun. That'll do." lol

Imaginary Creature

In all honesty, I'm not particularly proud of this one but thought id try and submit something for the Imaginary Creature prompt.

Something Nostalgic

Ever since I was little, my go-to sick day movie has been Disney's Robin Hood. To this day, every time I watch it I feel like curling up on my couch with a big comforter and a mug full of hot chicken broth.
